The Final Matrix – Don’t Join

…until you read what I have done first!

It’s been over a week since my last post…sorry about that. I have been spending most of that time putting together a couple of web pages for a new program that I am promoting called The Final Matrix. I have made a decision to try a team build with this one, as I already joined another team in it and have made some money with it so far. I would rather focus on helping those joining directly below me in this one, so Team Cash Cow was born. Have a look at my page and let me know what you think. I like the fact that this one pays more on the third level compared to the second, as it will hopefully inspire others to help their downlines grow.

My page pretty much spells it out for you, but the plan here is to build three members wide for anyone that joins. That puts you in profit and will hopefully help with membership retention as this is a monthly sub program. It will also hopefully inspire team members to promote their own link and get their own signups, too. I’m also offering 25,000 marketing leads per month as a bonus to join and stay active. Pretty good deal, I think!

Join Team Cash Cow!

I apologize if you were expecting more sizzle or cheerleading, trying to convince you about the program. Well…the truth is that 90% of the people trying to earn anything online don’t want to work for it. It’s like someone expects everything to be handed to them, and they can just sit back and collect the checks. Hate to tell you that it rarely works that way, and most team builds, like anything else will run their course and then stall.

So I guess what I am saying is that I am looking for people who are motivated to help the team. You don’t need to be an ace marketer or guru, just be willing to help promote a bit. If you can surf the exchanges, post solo ads, or use your social network to promote, and get 500 hits to your own links per week, then that is all I ask. I have made some advertising tools, like a splash page and will be adding banners and sample ads to use as time progresses and interest is shown. So the tools will be there for those wanting to use them. I think there is lots of potential for this one for people that want to work it. Simply fill out the form on the page if you are interested. ;)

Family Day Rocks

It’s Family Day here in my part of Canada today. A new stat holiday put in place a few years back to help break up the monotony of our Canadian winters. It’s a bit of a stretch between Christmas and Easter, so I guess this is the government’s answer. Anyway, I enjoyed taking the family out tobogganing today and took a few solo runs down the hill myself. Maybe just to prove to myself that I’m not too old to have some fun without killing myself in the process!

I also got some good news from a program I joined a couple of months back called Dead Bolt Secure. This one was in Beta launch and it looks like we are close to going live. I also found out that they increased the rebate on the first two levels of your matrix from $0.50 to $1.oo making the affordable subscription of $10.99/month for the privacy protection software basically free once the company filled forced matrix helps to fill those spots for you. I did a write up when I first joined that you can read here. It is still a great chance for those interested to get in at the top, as at the time I had the 18th spot company wide and not much has changed under me, so there is an advantage here to those that understand how a matrix works and the benefits of getting in at the beginning.

You will also see that I have added a couple of things to my blog. This will always be a work in progress! I added a page called Canadian Made. I will be adding some video media there over time that truly shows to me the uniqueness of being Canadian. So be sure to check back often.

I also added a permanent banner for the Prosperity Game. A new team project I have joined that involves helping each other out to make money. There is a free drawing that anyone can enter for a team spot that is given away on a regular basis. The nice thing with it is if you don’t win you stay entered for the next draw. Kind of a way to increase your chances of winning, and you don’t need to do anything except fill out a form to claim an entry. Hey, it’s free so why not check it out….just look for the rabbit on the right, and click on it to visit our blog there for more information.

Gifts That Grow

I find it hard to believe that a whole year has passed since we welcomed our 4th child into this world. Yes, 4th! Don’t see that too much anymore, do you? Our other 3 are age 7 and under, so let’s just say it’s never dull around our house! Last year this time I was on pins and needles as it had been a rough go, and the pregnancy had complications that made it high risk. There was some points that it didn’t look like James was going to make it; but he did and I must say he is a fighter, a true gift, and meant to be here to do good things in the world. And if you have looked around lately, like I have, we definitely need some help on this rock.

It was a life changing experience, and it changed the way I perceive problems now. Things that used to be a big deal don’t seem to have that urgency anymore. Not to say they won’t get figured out, but they just don’t compare the same way. It could be the fact that I’m getting older, though still a young buck in some people’s eyes…lol I hit 37 tomorrow, and I came to the realization that I’m pretty much half done. Whoa, what happened? Life happened, that’s what. Keep your eye on the prize too long and time passes you by. Not too much you can do about it.

So the next time something doesn’t go the way you planned, you lose money and get scammed; take a step back. Reflect. Accept. Then move on. Whatever the case, I think more of us should take the time to be thankful for what we do have, instead of worrying about what we don’t. Life is too short…yes you have heard that before, but for me it’s a truth that’s too hard to ignore. So I plan to make the most out of what I have, and enjoy my family more. 2010 is looking good so far with what I have my hand in, and if I can make some extra cash doing what I do online along the way, all the better. ;)

The Network That Gives Back

I thought I would share a bit about a program that I have been in now for about 9 months called Affordable Affiliates Network, or AAN. It’s funny that the name does not really represent the business plan of the company, as they are more like power sellers on E-Bay instead of affiliates. What they do is purchase physical goods at a large discount from various sources and then resell them for much more, in turn creating profit to share with the members. Those that decide to upgrade actually have their funds allocated to inventory items. When those items are sold, whatever percentage that was alotted to that member gets paid out.

For example, you upgrade for $100. From that money they take your $20 and pool it with a portion of other members money and use it to buy a solid maple dining room table and chair set. Someone sees this item either on the website or visits their showroom and decides to buy it. Let’s say for example AAN bought it for $200 and then sold it for $600. The $400 profit then gets split up between the AAN members based on what % of share they had in the original purchase price of the $200. In this case yours would be 10%, so you, the member, earns $40 in commissions for the sale. There are a couple of other things that happens to the $40, but it is better explained on how the site operates in this video here:

Now before you jump on board and upgrade, I want to be up front with you and tell you that I have yet to be paid or know of anyone else that has for that matter. It’s been 9 months of script changes, warehousing issues, allocating inventory, and the list goes on. I originally invested $100 to test things out here, and have just recently had one item sell and a couple more get added to my inventory. It looks like it is working, but slowly, as they continue to iron out the wrinkles in the program. Some may think this is a big scam, but they are still online, still adding inventory to accounts to be sold and actually do have a physical warehouse located in the province of British Columbia here in Canada. Heck, if I lived on the west coast I would make a visit there myself. Unfortunately from Ontario is a bit of a drive for me to get there!

If you want to learn more the option to join for free is offered, and that gives you access to the member area where you can see what this is all about. I suggest that you do not upgrade until it’s fully up and running. No point wasting your money if this ends up being a whole bunch of nothing! However, I think this is a slow burner with real potential once it is fully functional.

I do like the concept – real product, being sold for profit and shared with investors. Better then sinking your money into some HYIP that claims they deal in fine gems mined from some mine in the jungles of Burma and then sharing the returns with you…lol

Power Of The Penguin

I was recently introduced to a program by my fellow blogger and buddy Gord called the “Prosperity Game“. It works on the concept of teamwork and moving positions through a series of boards to earn progressively higher amounts. Now, I know what you are thinking – “Ugh, not another team build, full of empty promises!” I know, I have been there myself. The last couple of years online, I have seen a surge of team builds in a variety of programs, but they really only benefit those lucky enough to join at the beginning and receive the benefits of what that build is offering. Even then there are no guarantees you will get “pushed” through the levels, or stages to earn the money. Typically those that start and organize the build come out on top, and most are left out in the cold when interest wains and new members stop joining. I suppose this remains true with any program, be it an autosurf, HYIP, cycler, rev share, etc. No new people means no new money coming in. And unfortunately most programs online rely on this to survive unless you are in direct sales, but even then you still need to push the latest magic juice, or diet pill to make any money…lol.

So, if this is true, then how is the Prosperity Game any different? Well, first off it is a game. You know this right from the start. No smoke and mirrors here. To me it’s the same as if I went down to the local Esso gas bar and bought $150 worth of LottoMax tickets. So at least I know what I am getting into. The twist here is that there is a strategy to placing new members on the boards and a method for all team members to follow to ensure that positions keep moving and people keep earning.

It is also only a one-time fee to get started. All the other positions you buy down the road are from profit. So it is pretty much “set and forget”, which I like. Unless of course you want to promote it, then you can help things move more quickly. How long it will take depends on how the boards move and how many decide to come into the game. But, interestingly, there are over 30,000 “players” in Europe since this started up. Pretty impressive numbers so far and in my opinion, I don’t see how you couldn’t make some money here if you have the time to let the team do their thing.

Okay, so what’s the deal with the penguins? If you ever saw the documentary March of the Penguins from a few years back you learned that they all worked as a group to protect the eggs, by huddling together in massive groups or colonies to conserve body heat in the extremely cold climate of Antarctica. The concept is the same here only the ‘eggs’ are player positions, and everyone works together to help each other succeed.

If you are wondering how much it costs to get involved, there are two options. Either ‘Power of 1′ for $150 – that will get your own position on the board. Or ‘Power of 4′ for $42, which puts you on a team with 3 others and you all share the winnings when the position cycles through the board. I chose the ‘Power of 4′ myself, just because funds are tight right now and I wanted to test the waters. There is no limit as to how many spots you can purchase, so this may be an option for me in the future. But for now I am just going to stick with what I have – a great passive opportunity to make money and see how it pans out!

Australian Definition of a Canadian – (Fabulous compliment)

Once in a while someone does a nice job of describing a Canadian, this time it was an Australian dentist.

An Australian Definition of a Canadian

In case anyone asks you who a Canadian is . . .

You probably missed it in the local news, but there was a report that someone in Pakistan had advertised in a newspaper an offer of a reward to anyone who killed a Canadian – any Canadian.

An Australian dentist wrote the following editorial to help define what a Canadian is, so they would know one when they found one.

A Canadian can be English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. A Canadian can be Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, Arab, Pakistani, or Afghan.

A Canadian may also be a Cree, Metis, Mohawk, Blackfoot, Sioux, or one of the many other tribes known as native Canadians.  A Canadian’s religious beliefs range from Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, or none.  In fact, there are more Muslims in Canada than in Afghanistan.  The key difference is that in Canada they are free to worship as each of them chooses.  Whether they have a religion or no religion, each Canadian ultimately answers only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.

A Canadian lives in one of the most prosperous lands in the history of the world.  The root of that prosperity can be found in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which recognize the right of each person to the pursuit of happiness.

A Canadian is generous and Canadians have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need, never asking a thing in return. Canadians welcome the best of everything, the best products, the best books, the best music, the best food, the best services, and the best minds.

But they also welcome the least - the oppressed, the outcast, and the rejected.

These are the people who built Canada.  You can try to kill a Canadian if you must as other bloodthirsty tyrants in the world have tried but in doing so you could just be killing a relative or a neighbour.  This is because Canadians are not a particular people from a particular place.  They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom.  Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, can be a Canadian.

I could not have said it better myself….

Hello 2010!

Happy New Year everyone! It’s a good time as any for me to reflect. There have been some good programs that have come and gone in 2009. If I look back to last year this time I remember that there was more going on for me in the realm of autosurfs and HYIP’s. Not to say that there aren’t a lot of programs out there right now, but as I have adopted an “once bitten, twice shy” attitude I have found myself sitting out and watching most of these new ones crash and burn over the past month. Hey, for once I wasn’t on that train wreck..lol

So I have started dabbling with Follow petethecanadian on Twitter, something I thought I would never do. Let me tell you that this is a whole new world and I could see how it could consume someone with so many different apps and tools that you can use. I have found it a great way to build a list, but the majority of “friends” I have made and followed are all pimping the same latest and greatest “make money with Twitter” programs. Kind of funny actually, as the cookie cutter responses for me to have a look seem to appear daily. Hey, if it works then more power to them, but I can see how the original “social” concept of Twitter has waned. The MLMers have moved in and taken over, like the big kid in the sandbox who won’t let you make a sandcastle. Though all is not lost, as Twitter has started to crack down on the spammers and began suspending accounts for those who aggressively follow and unfollow others in an attempt to build a contact list quickly. Still, there are ways to work around that, and though I don’t want to be grouped in with them I am doing it my own way, and it seems to be keeping the Twitter cops from knocking on my door. I found some cool software that allows me to target the type of “tweeple” I want to add to my following, and it’s called Hummingbird. I won’t dig too deep into how it works but what it does is listens to the live twitter feed of users and pinpoints those who are tweeting about what you tell it to look for. In essence finding me targeted followers based on keywords. It also uses a “smart engine” which knows when to stop adding people and will actually unfollow someone when required to keep you running silent.

The Twitter Marketing Tool for Business

I am also moving forward with DeadBoltSecure. I did a recent entry on this new company that provides privacy protection for your PC. It’s a brand new idea and the launch is just around the corner, so me getting involved early shall pay off nicely from what I am seeing so far. Still can’t believe how many attempts at accessing my computer were happening while it was connected to the internet until I got this software that blocked them! So far I am impressed with the service and the product.

Looking forward into 2010, I can see me adding some other streams of income to what I have left, and pursuing income in different directions. Guess it all depends on what looks good and is available to me.

Identity Theft IS Real

Did that title get your attention? Well, it should. According to Javelin Research, over 10 million people in the United States had private information stolen in 2008. Or look at it this way – odds are 1 in 6 that it could happen to you. To me that is staggering!

How does it happen? One method that is not as popular now was these crooks going through your garbage to find your info from your statements and bills. However this was time consuming and a bit risky that someone would catch them in the act. So the majority of ID theft now happens online through the use of software that basically “probes” the ports of your computer when you are connected to the internet looking for a way to get in and access your hard drive.

Picture, if you will, a car parked outside the local corner store with the keys in it and the engine running. The owner runs in the store to grab a jug of milk. Sure he may get in and out before someone steals the car, but they are leaving themselves wide open. What I’m saying is you won’t even know this is happening, until it is too late.

Here is an excerpt from the website regarding the possible threats:

SO…WHAT CAN A HACKER DO TO MY COMPUTER?

It depends on the nature of the attack. While some attacks are just
nuisances that may play simple pranks, others are created with
    malicious intent. Hackers can:

    • MONITOR your activities
    • STEAL personal information, passwords or credit card numbers
    • USE your PC to perform illegal attacks against major corporations
    • DELETE information from your drives
    • CRASH your computer

So how do you protect your computer and in turn protect yourself? I was lucky enough to network with a fellow out of Michigan that has just started a brand new program that offers technology that because of the price has not been offered to the masses before. In fact it has not even officially launched yet. January is the proposed time frame. But as I am a co-founder, and invested in the company, I can tell you about it now. Deadboltsecure is a software suite of products designed to give you that privacy protection where other firewalls fall short. Mainly because it operates at the “socket-level” which is a higher grade of protection. Not only does it monitor all the traffic going into your computer, it also checks everything going out. So if you do happen to have spyware on your computer it keeps it from sending your personal data ‘back home’ and essentially renders it useless.

The price is only $10.99/mth and you can subscribe through Alertpay or credit card. Finally, a real product with real demand, and at an attractive price point. I got on board mainly because of the potential I see here to make a nice residual monthly income through their company fed 3×7 forced matrix. They offer this in the form of a member rebate program that rewards active subscribers with the chance of sharing in a monthly rebate as the company fills it’s matrix with members. Each subscription has the earning potential of over $1600/mth residual. Not bad, considering that your computer is being protected and there is no requirement to recruit anyone unless you want to take it upon yourself to earn the rebates faster. And seeing as I am sitting 18th company wide in the matrix, once they open for business I anticipate this to be quite lucrative for me and anyone else that decides to get involved in the early stages. But more importantly, I know I am protected now! Which is well worth the monthly membership fee…

Pete the Canadian – That’s Me

Just a blog, about my experiences online with the ups and downs of earning a secondary income. I have been known to go off topic occasionally with other interesting stuff, too. I like to tell it like it is and hope you enjoy my ramblings here!
