I had written a post a little while ago regarding the honesty and integrity of program admins, and showed how even if everything looks good, you can still get burned by a crook. This past week I decided to delve into a different area of HYIP’s, more specifically the ones that only use Liberty Reserve. A kind of “no man’s land” for me as with LR you are basically on your own when it comes to disputes with the program, but some of the more established programs choose to use only that processor because of the low fees and anonyminity available.
I decided to spread my “seed money” around between a handful of programs that looked good. Hey, guess what? Yep, within only a few days I seem to have lost about 1/3 of what I invested! Again, it was with a couple that looked good, had a decent track record, everyone was happy, but time got the better of them and for whatever reason they stopped paying. As a warning to you, I suggest you stay away from Investment Forge and Enviro-Ventures if you may have been considering these ones as they appear dead in the water.
So what is the good news? Totally unrelated to this I was pleasantly surprised to see I received a refund from World Assets Growth for a spend I did months back and never turned a profit on due to lack of support for the program. I actually got this email from them and figured it would be yet another nail driven into my coffin of online investing:

We are sure this will come as no surprise. Because of
low member interest, little participation, and even less
support, World Asset Growth is shutting down. It was a
dream and a great experiment—we worked extremely
hard to make it succeed—but clearly, it hasn\’t.If you opened an offshore bank account, or got involved
with any other corporation via WAG, be assured that
those will not be affected.If you purchased advertising, we will return the amount
you spent, minus any earnings you\’ve already withdrawn,
as quickly as we can—though it may take us a few
months to do it.We wish you all success in the future!

Notice the phrase “though it may take us a few months to do it”. Yeah, I’ve heard that one before! Okay. Reflect, accept, move on. Within a few hours of getting the email, I had funds sitting in my STP account. Nice! So I guess this goes to show that there are some decent admins out there, meaning to do the right thing. However, like I have said before, if your members don’t support your program there isn’t much chance of success.
Hi Pete. I got a partial refund from W.A.G. within a few hours also. I sent them a support ticket this weekend just to make sure I am on their mind to be paid in full eventually. They responded right away and said absolutely! I’m disappointed that this one didn’t thrive but am pleased with the way they are closing (so far). On to the next program!

It is great to see some site admins out there that are still honest and trustworthy. this reminds me of a site called bux.to I joined back in 2007, they paid me about 12 months after i reached the minimum of $10 which was Jan 2008 and I am still waiting for a payment of $50 so I have been waiting 26 months now, but hey its still free money I have about $90 in there now. Will I ever get it? not sure its forum says they are paying people though. who knows. I also got Burned by Ad-Ventures4You but they are trying to bring it back up if they pay me great but if not then I ain’t lost anything as the only money I have invested is the money I make off neobux and what my blog generates.
I think the secret is never using your own household cash because that’s when you really get burned. I just use the cash I have made off the internet these days because if you lose out you ain’t really lost anything and you just wash, rinse and repeat.

I never got into the PTC sites much, but know bux.to has been around for a very long time.
